IT Project Manager

We are currently seeking an IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing projects of limited scope, coordinating resources, budgets, and scope, and providing valuable support on multiple simultaneous projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work within a mature Project Management Office and have the ability to work across a variety of business domains to keep projects on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, estimate, schedule, and review specifications to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate and manage small project teams of IT and business professionals.
- Lead project management activities across the project lifecycle, using proven methodologies and tools.
- Able to work under a tenured Program Manager and report out regular status updates, risks, and key project milestones
- Solve moderately complex business and system problems with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Assess project progress, identify potential issues, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status and recommend strategy adjustments to stakeholders and IT management.
- Ensure system, network, performance, and cybersecurity requirements are met within the project scope and deliverables.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Equivalent combinations of certifications, education, and experience are considered.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Effective leadership and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in computers and applicable software.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and privacy laws, regulations, and risk management processes.
- Demonstrated experience running multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
